Tomorrow night @ 8: ELECTRA GLIDE IN BLUE
Better known as a music producer, Guercio’s only feature film is a knockout. Arizona motorcycle cop “Big” John Wintergreen (Robert Blake) wants off the road and into homicide, but the corrupt post-’60s landscape means his steadfast moral code may be his undoing. Conrad Hall’s cinematography and the film’s final shot will stay with you in this criminally underseen masterpiece.
